According to the physical and chemical properties of the gas to be transported, choose the ventilator for different purposes. Such as conveying clean air, should choose the general ventilator; conveying flammable and explosive gas, should choose explosion-proof ventilator; conveying corrosive gas, should choose corrosion-resistant fan.
3. When selecting the ventilator, the air leakage loss and calculation error of the pipeline system should be considered, as well as the negative deviation of the actual air volume and air pressure of the ventilator. Generally, the safety factor with air volume of 1.05~1.1 and air pressure of 1.10~1.15 is adopted. The working point of the ventilator is located on the right side of the full pressure peak point in the performance curve (that is, the large air volume side, and is generally located at 80% of the full pressure peak).
5. For the ventilation system with noise reduction requirements, the ventilator with high efficiency and low circumferential speed of the impeller should be selected first, and it should work near the highest efficiency point. Corresponding noise elimination and vibration reduction measures should also be taken according to the transmission mode of noise and vibration generated by the ventilation system.
6. The pipeline ventilator is through the change of the blade shape, so that the air flow into the fan, both part of the axial flow effect, and produce part of the centrifugal effect, so its performance between the axial flow fan and centrifugal fan.

Installation points:
1. The ventilator installation pedestal (foundation, hanger) should have sufficient strength, stability and durability, and the vibration of the pedestal should meet the following requirements:
1) The natural vibration frequency of the foundation device shall not be greater than 1/3 of the rotating speed of the motor and ventilator;
2) The difference between the vibration speed when the ventilator is running and the vibration speed when the ventilator is stationary should be more than 3 times.
2. The connection between the inlet and outlet of the ventilator and the air duct shall be provided with flexible joints. The air inlet duct, air outlet duct and other devices shall be separately supported and firmly supported by the foundation or other components of the building, and the casing shall not bear the weight of other parts.
3. When the ventilator is installed on the building components, vibration isolation measures should be taken.
